With over 30 years of being Guam's business community, King's Restaurant has been a success. Started out in 1975, with a simple Island-style lounge in the heart of Guam's commercial center, we have become to be known as Guam's Best Family Restaurant. Our staff and management have kept their loyalty in providing our local community with the best, fast and satisfying service. That's what made us continue to grow. In 1996, management decided that in return to the loyalty of our customers, we opened up another branch in the Harmon location (holds a seating capacity of about 125), and not only did we continue to carry on the tradition of fast, and efficient service, but we also assisted in adding on new jobs for the benefit of the economy. In 1997 again, we grew, having to build a free-standing restaurant at about a mile away from our previous Island-style lounge, our Tamuning location holds up to 225 seating capacity. Our current business overall, employs about 200 individuals, averaging about 200,000 meals monthly. We have 10 restaurant managers, one (1) Office Manager, two (2) Assistant Clerks, one (1) Human Resource Manager, one (1) Director of Operations, and the President, to oversee the whole development of the entire Company. With the dynamic caliber of these individuals, we have proved enough to maintain a high standard of such profile. Currently, King's Restaurant LLC and its management are operating the two well-established restaurants, and continue to maintain the highest level of standards in the food and beverage industry. Having grown from a well-established foundation, and upholding good standing merits we are associated with numerous civic organization such as the Guam Hotel and Restaurant Association, Guam Chamber of Commerce, The Guam Employers Council, Dietary Association of America, Dietary Management Association, and the American Food Service Association. One of our primary goals that we had and was able to achieve, was to develop a new method of training to enhance our employees with the up to date knowledge on the field of food and customer service. |
